The Artistic Odyssey of Maries Joseph: From Healer to Creator:
Maries Joseph is a professional artist who is settled in Fresno, California after a fulfilling career as a physician (pediatrician & clinical geneticist) serving the local community. While her passion for painting ignited in childhood, it took a back seat during a busy medical career. However, the stunning landscapes and the warmth of the people she encountered in California rekindled her artistic spirit. Amidst the demands of her medical career, Maries found time and space to reconnect with painting.
She draws parallels between both vocations, seeing them as avenues of healing and expression—one through science and the other through color and form. Her paintings, often infused with vibrant colors, invite viewers to explore the dynamic energy of colors and experience each piece's emotional resonance. Maries draws her inspiration from her deep awe of the divine creator’s perfection, reflected in nature’s intricate designs and vibrant hues.
